Adolfo Sanchez, 81, of Mammoth, Arizona passed away on 1/12/2024. Adolfo was born on 7/27/1942 to mother Sophia and father Ambrosio. Adolfo grew up with a total of ten siblings in Douglas, Arizona. After graduating from San Manuel High School, Adolfo went on to work at Kennecott/ASARCO mine where he spent 32 years. Adolfo met Socorro when she was 16 years old and were high school sweethearts. They got married in 1964. Adolfo and Socorro went on to have five children, Adolfo, Ruben, Victor, Rosie, and Danny. Currently they have 21 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren. Adolfo and Socorro spent 60 years of their lives together surrounded by family and friends. In Adolfo's free time he loved to do crossword puzzles, admire astronomy, play games like chess, but most of all he loved to spend time with his family and friends. Adolfo is survived by his wife Socorro, sisters Guadalupe, Rachel, and Cecilia, children Adolfo, Ruben, Victor, and Rosie, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Services will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024 with visitation starting at 11:00 A.M. with a rosary at 11:30 A.M. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 P.M. Luncheon will be at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Mammoth, Arizona
