Alfonso T. Arriola was called by the Lord on Saturday June 18, 2022 at the age of 92. He was born on May 6, 1930 in Bisbee, Arizona to parents Epitacio and Delores Arriola. He was one of six children, he had two brothers and three sisters. He spent his teen years living in Long Beach, California, and at the age of 18 joined the United States Army, where he served from 1948-1952 with the 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 82 ^nd Airborne Division. After his time in the Military, he met his beloved wife, Eloisa Armendarez in Miami, Arizona. Alfonso and Eloisa then relocated to Superior, Arizona where they would raise and grow their family. He worked for Magma Mine as an underground miner for 30 years and retired in 1983. Alfonso was a family man, everything he did was for his family and later down the years for his grandchildren as well. He enjoyed the great outdoors, loved going to the lake, 4-wheeling in the desert, camping, going the Oak Flats and the Jungle or the riffle range to shoot his guns. His children as well as his grandchildren remember going on adventures in "Tata's Yellow Truck."

Alfonso is preceded in death by his wife Eloisa Arriola, parents Epitacio and Delores Arriola, sister Socorro Vasquez, brothers Frank Arriola and Mike Arriola.

Alfonso is survived by his children, Alfonso Arriola (Noreen), Ray Arriola (Alisia), Diana Arriola, Tamie Zavala (Garry). He also leaves behind 17 Grandchildren, 21 Great-Grandchildren and sisters Theresa Villalobos of Superior, Arizona and Bertha Haggin of Carson, California
