It is with great sadness we are sharing the loss of our wonderful, amazing father, Alton R Dees, age 82 yrs, passed away in the early morning of June 18, 2024 surrounded by his kids and grandkids.  He was preceeded in death by the love of his life, his wife of almost 60 yrs, Sylvia M. Dees.

Survivors include his 4 children, 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren. Curtis (Kim) Dees and 3 kids: Curtis Whittle and wife Dayna Tollman who have 3 kids. Candace Roach who has 4 kids and 2 grandkids. David (Krystin) Dees who has 1 child. Elizabeth (Chris) Tafoya and 3 kids: Cynthia Dees (Brian Wallis) and 2 daughters. Randee Cortes and 1 son. Travis Dees and 1 daughter. Bobby Dees Farrell Dees and 2 kids: Annmarie and Shannon

He was employed with Magma Copper Company/BHP for over 30 years starting out as a underground miner and then became a weilder there after receiving his Journeyman Welders Certification from Aravipa Community College. Following the mine shut down he was employed at Asarco Mining Co for many years as a Certified Haul Truck Driver and trainer.

We will have a private Service for our wonderful father who will be greatly missed by all!
