Antonio Ramirez Benavides passed away on January 23, 2024. He was 66 years old. Originally from El Paso, Texas, "Tony" was a resident of Kearny, AZ for several years, and attended Ray High School. He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Mary, and a sister, Lupe. He is survived by three brothers (Guillermo "Billy", Hector, and Raymond) and three sisters (Barbara, Ruby, and Nancy); three sons (Jacob, Christopher, and Anthony), a daughter (Destiny), eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a host of nieces and nephews.  Tony was a very talented artist, in both the areas of music and visual arts. He was a great musician, having taught himself to play various musical instruments through the years; and most recently, he enjoyed teaching others to play the guitar. Tony was also gifted at drawing, painting, and making crafts. He is now at peace in the arms of his Lord and Savior, whom he truly loved. There will be a small, private family gathering in remembrance of Tony.
