Artemisa "Micha" Ramirez Martinez passed peacefully on January 6, 2023 surrounded by her family in Dudleyville, Arizona. Micha was born to Angel and Felicitas Ramirez on December 23, 1938 in Litchfield Park, Arizona. She spent her early years growing up in Litchfield Park and later moved with her family to Sonora, Arizona.  She graduated from Ray High School in 1957. While in high school, she started dating the love of her
life, Raymond Martinez.

When Raymond returned from his military service in the Air Force, the two were married on February 29, 1960 in Sonora, Arizona. Micha and Raymond welcomed their first child, Ray III in 1961 and their second child, Sam in 1962. They welcomed their third and only daughter, Lisa in 1964. Shortly after they moved to Dudleyville, Arizona and what is now known as the "Martinez Acre." In 1966, they welcomed their fourth child, Robert aka "The Baby". Micha and Raymond celebrated 58 years of marriage, until Raymond's passing in 2019. After our dad passed, our mother was not the same and she missed him immensely.

Micha is preceded in death by her husband Raymond, parents, brothers, sister and grandson, Robert Jr. She is survived by her sister, Aida (Lionel Ruiz), children, Ray III, Sam (Barbara), Lisa and Robert (Lillian). Nana Micha will be missed by her 11 grandchildren: Samson, Quito, Jovanna, Ray IV, Ruben, Angelica, Christopher, Bruno, Michael, Elias, Elissa, 13 great-grandchildren and many nephews, nieces and their families.

Micha was the life of the party and could always be found showing off her spunky dance moves or singing her heart out. But as some of us know, when the party is over the party is over! She loved spending time with her family, camping (when the kids were little), crafting/painting, gardening and let's not forget that she really enjoyed going to the casino. She was a member of the Dudleyville Crafty Ladies for 15 years. She was best known for her outspoken feisty attitude, her elaborate stories and her truthful comments that somehow meant well. She was truly one of a kind and will be deeply missed.

Although our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing she is back with our dad and family.
