Aurelio R. "Yaeyo" Vega, 62, of Superior, AZ, was surrounded by his family when the Lord called him home on Friday, May 28, 2021. Yaeyo was born in Pacoima, CA on April 25, 1959 to parents Angela Rodriguez and Otilio Vega

Yaeyo came to Arizona in March 1979 where he met his wife Marlene and together they raised their family. Yaeyo worked for Asarco Ray Mine until his medical retirement. He then put all his focus into enjoying time with his kids and then his grandkids. He loved sports, especially when his grandkids played. He also enjoyed watching the Cardinals, D-backs, and Suns.

Aurelio is survived by his wife of 40 years, Marlene, his sons Robert and Manuel Vega, his daughters Renee (Steven) and Martina, brother Jose (Alma) Rosales, sisters Betty Fuentes and Angie (Alberto) Mesta, and grandchildren Ivie, Sivanna, Daniel, Sammy, Alianna, Leilani, MaKayla, Joivani, Ivan, Isaiah and Kia. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Aurelio is preceded in death by his son Joey, mother Angela, sisters Katy, Rita, and Susie, brothers Antonio, Isabel, Alfred and Marcelino.
