Barbara Jean Harmon was 84 when she entered the presence of her beloved Lord and Savior on a fitting Sunday morning, December 8, 2019.

Barbara was loved by all who knew her, and her servant's heart was legendary. She remained active in her community and church until her illness would no longer permit her to be. She took countless meals to people in need, enjoyed volunteering in the community's Hand Me Up Shop, and was very active in church. During her lifetime, she faithfully served as a Sunday School teacher for over 35 years. She touched the lives of countless young people who remember her love for Jesus, kindness, and compassion for people. Her family remembers her as a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandma.

Barbara never failed to make everyone feel loved and cared for. She was also a wonderful cook whose table was filled with food and surrounded by family.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, John and Emma Snyder; her husband, Marvin; her son, Steve; her grandson, Matthew Barney; and her son-in-law, Joe Deen. She is survived by her daughters Debbie (Joe), Sheri (Joey), and Donna (Shem). Barbara also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. She leaves behind her sisters, Pat and Dean and numerous nieces and nephews.
