Clara June (Owensby) Kishbaugh, A long time resident of Dripping Springs, passed peacefully from this mortal life on January 31, 2024 at the age of 88 years and after a lengthy illness and a short hospitalization, due to suffering a fall at her home. She was born January 25, 1936 in Ada, Oklahoma and was adopted at birth by Claud and Hattye Owensby. The family moved to Hayden, Arizona in about 1940 while she was a young child. Growing up she attended Hayden Public Schools. After graduating from Hayden High School, she attended Lamson Business College in Tucson. In 1952 she married Marlin P. Holcomb of Hayden, a marriage that ended shortly in divorce. From that marriage she bore a son, Richard M. Holcomb. She married her current husband Bill Kishbaugh in the summer of 1956. For several years, while living in California, she was head cashier at the Lane Bryant Stores Outlet in Buena Park, California. After returning to Arizona, she became a school bus driverfor Ray Unified School District. A job she held for 25years before retiring. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was an accomplished artisan, well known for her skills and craftmanship in plastic designs. At each holiday she loved decorating their home with her handiwork, especially at Christmas time. She was preceded in death by her adoptee parents Claud and Hattye Owensby. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, William G. (Bill) Kishbaugh of Dripping Springs, her son Richard M. (Janelle) Kishbaugh of McAlester, Oklahoma, Her daughter Debbie (Brad) Baker od Dripping Springs, and her daughter Melica (Kishbaugh) McMillan of Kearny, Arizona. She had 11 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at the Kearny Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
