Courtney Leigh Baker , age 43, returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, April 27, 2025, in Gilbert, Arizona, surrounded by those who loved her most.

Born on March 16, 1982, Courtney brought joy, laughter, and light to all who knew her. Affectionately known as "Corky" by her siblings and close friends, she lived with a fierce sense of personal agency, a compassionate heart, and a vibrant spirit. A devoted daughter, mother, sister, and grandmother, she lived a life marked by love, resilience, and faith. Her greatest joy came from her family—especially the time she spent with her children and her cherished granddaughter.

Courtney loved people. She never met a stranger, and her gift for connection led her naturally into the service industry, where she thrived. Whether managing vacation resorts or waiting tables, she found purpose and fulfillment in serving others and sharing in their stories. She had a way of making everyone feel seen, welcomed, and understood.

Courtney is survived by her parents, Brad and Debbie Baker; her beloved children, Kayleigh, Caleb, Kahlea, and Kyrah; and her precious granddaughter, Maevelyn—truly the apple of her eye. She is also survived by her siblings, Bryany (Blaine) Morris, Jeremy (Kyrstin) Baker, and Zach Baker; her grandparents, Bill Kishbaugh, Randy (Jan) Baker, and Maxine (Keith) Knapp; and many adored nieces and nephews who lovingly called her "Aunt Courtney."

She found deep joy in the gospel of Jesus Christ and radiated Christlike love through her kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion to family and friends. Her life was a testament to compassion, courage, and the power of choosing your own path with integrity and grace.

Her legacy of faith and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
