With great sadness, we announce the passing of Daniel (Danne, Bam Bam) Quiroz.
Danne was born to beloved parents Frank (Danny) Quiroz and Barbara Vigil-Olivarez in Miami,
Arizona on November 20, 1970. He grew up loving to torment his family with little pranks and
tease his nieces and nephews, as his favorite way of showing love to his family. He played
baseball starting at 9 years old until high school, but baseball would continue to be part of his
entire life. At 11 years old, he won the Johnny Boy Gonzales award, while on his little league
team. Through his teen years, he enjoyed riding his ATV with Gil, Chad, Carlos, and Dominic.
While in high school, he enjoyed and excelled as a running back and linebacker on the Miami
High School team. Danne welcomed his son, Daniel Jr. Quiroz into the world at 17 years old. As
he went through his senior year he met his soon to be wife, Rindy by putting a beautiful rose on
her car while she was at work. He graduated that year as a proud father and soon to be
husband. On September 30, 1989 Danne married the love of his life, Rindy Quiroz, they were
married for 37 wonderful years to follow. Together they raised their 4 children, Danne Jr., Chad,
Kyle, and Frankie. He enjoyed teaching his kids and grandkids everything he knew about
baseball, hunting, and shooting guns. Danne had the honor to work with his father-in-law, Rusty,
at Century Link for many years. Danne lived a great life and was friends with everyone he
crossed paths with. He loved his family dearly and cared deeply for each and every one of
them.
He is survived by wife, Rindy Quiroz, children Danne (Leya) Quiroz, Kyle Quiroz, and Frankie
(Rachel) Hambuchen-Quiroz, grandchildren Nevaeh, Avah, Kiliyan, Dannika, Wyatt, Ella, Stevie,
and Jovi Daniel Quiroz, mother Barbara Olivarez, and siblings Doreen (Mike) Badilla, Marlene
(Ruben) Medina, Gil (Imelda) Bustamante, and Valeri (James) Rago-Bustamante. Mother-in-law
Kathy Long, Brother-in-law Danny (Shannon) Long. He is preceded in death by father Frank
Quiroz, son Chad Quiroz, stepfather Mario Olivarez, and father-in-law Rusty Long.
