David Lee Hunter

David Lee Hunter, born September 29, 1953, passed away on March 17, 2024. He is survived by his loving daughter Charlene, devoted sons Daniel and James, cherished sisters Kae Johnson and Patricia Clyder, and beloved brothers Gary Hunter, Joe Dunn, and James Dunn. He is preceded in death by his partner Kerry his mother Irene and his sister Sue.

David will be fondly remembered by his friends and family for his deep affection for the outdoors, his dedicated work ethic, and his occasionally stubborn demeanor. He spent most of his life engaging in construction work during the week, while eagerly escaping to his favorite fishing or hunting spots on the weekends. Known for his willingness to help those in need and his laid-back attitude, David touched the lives of many with his generosity and easygoing nature.

From an early age, David cultivated a passion for the wilderness, leading him to explore hunting and fishing locations across the state of Arizona with his friends and family. His love for the great outdoors provided him with countless memorable experiences and forged lasting bonds with those who shared in his adventures.

An open service to celebrate David's life will be held at Bulman Miles Funeral Services, located at 309 Live Oak Street in Miami, Arizona, on May 18th at 2:00 p.m. Following the service, friends and family are invited to gather at the Salt River to bid farewell to David and Kerry, and to reminisce about their shared experiences near some of their most treasured fishing holes.
