David Leon Killmer age 80 passed away on September 19,2020 in Globe, Arizona. David was born on October 24 ,1939 in Des Moines, New Mexico to his loving parents James and Esther Killmer. David graduated from Miami High School in 1958. He proudly served in the United States Army as a Radar Operator. David married Mamie Lee Mitchel on August 1, 1964 in Lordsburg, New Mexico. They were married for 43 years until her passing. David worked as an electrician for the Superior Mine, Inspiration and Cyprus until his retirement in 2000.David was an avid wood worker and enjoyed the great outdoors. He loved to travel and would often camp, and hunt. David was part of the Model Airplane club in Cutter Fairgrounds in Wheatfields. David was a very outgoing and loving man who really enjoyed spending time with family and friends. David will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

David is preceeded in death by his loving parents James and Esther Killmer, his wife Mamie Killmer. His brother James Guy Killmer, His sisters Dorothy Irene Martin, Grace Louise Stanneart, and Anna Jean Roten.  He is survived by his children Brenda (John) Medlin of Globe, Az. Sherri Killmer of Morenci, Az. His brother Fredrick "Allen" Killmer of North Carolina and his dear friend Deborah Meyer. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 10 Great grandchildren.
