Dennis Wayne Gates age 74 from Globe, Arizona. Passed in peace on October 15,2020 in Phoenix Arizona. Dennis was born on December 24,1945 in Abilene, Texas to his loving parents Adolph and Lillie Belle Gates. Dennis "Papa" was an incredibly happy man, who loved to tell jokes and was also a prankster. He was an exceptionally talented welder and fabricator. Dennis even had his favorite "baby" his dog whom he called Mr. Wilson. Just like Dennis the Menace and Mr. Wilson they were both inseparable. Dennis was very passionate in everything he had accomplished and took extreme pride in his family.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents Adolph and Lillie Belle Gates. His Dog Mr. Wilson. Dennis is survived by his loving wife Donna, His children Dennis (Jana) Gates, Myra, Tammy Roberts, and Scotty (Cher) Roberts. His brothers Carl Gates and Jerry Gates, His sister's Betty Jean White, Mildred Garza and Shirley Weeks, along with 13 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Dennis will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great- grandfather, uncle and friend and a proud US Navy Veteran.
