Diana Irene Lopez-Sanchez , 61, returned to her Heavenly Father on January 11, 2026.

Diana was born on March 22, 1964 to Magdaleno Lopez and Yolanda Luna in Bisbee, Arizona. Her parents eventually moved to Superior where she attended Superior High School and met her bestfriend and High School sweetheart (Raymond Daniel). When Diana was 17, she married Raymond, becoming Mrs. Diana Daniel and welcoming 3 daughters, Veronica, Victoria and Yolanda. 23 Years later Raymond and Diana parted ways but maintained a friendship.

In 1999 Diana welcomed a miracle baby, Diana Amelia Barragan. She was the last of her children.

Diana worked many years as Security for Magma Copper Mine and was a devoted mother. She spent most of her time caring for her youngest daughter born with Cerebral Palsy. Diana loved to cook, BBQ, entertain her friends and family while bumping her music loud. Everyone who knew her close knew she loved to jam her music and dance and if you catch her at the right moment, she would grab something close by for a microphone and sing to you. But her favorite activity was fishing. Every chance she got; she would literally stay in the water all night until she caught a fish.

Diana was a vibrant person who loved to visit and be comadres with everybody she came across. She had a strong faith in Jesus Christ and had accepted him as her Lord and Savior. She was neither timid or shy about it, sharing her testimonies will all. She did many charitable works; she was warm and affectionate with endless capacity to do for others. Her vibrance and sense of humor and love will be greatly missed.

She is preceeded in death by her parents Yolanda Luna, Magdaleno Lopez and grandparents Amelia and Paul Luna.

Diana is survived by her husband, Ruben Sanchez, Sisters Valerie, Lupe, Monica and brother Jose Lopez. Daughters, Veronica (Richie) Griego, Victoria (Josh "Bear') Zapata, Yolanda (Daniel) Zamorano and Diana Barragan. Grandchildren, Raeven Griego, Joshua Zapata and Rollin Zapata.
