Eddie G Smith, 73, of Oracle, AZ, passed away on January 31, 2021.

He was born to parents Cecil and Mary Smith, on November 12, 1947, in Beebe, Arkansas.

He married Suzanne, the love of his life, in 1966, who survives him. Eddie also survived by sons Tony (Tina) Smith, Bobby (Deidra) Smith, Eddie (Lydia) Smith, as well as 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, and his brother Robert (Annette) Smith. Eddie was predeceased by parents Cecil and Mary Smith, and Brother Gary Smith.

Eddie worked at Asarco in Hayden, AZ for 33 years, and at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center for 8 years before retiring.

Eddie was known for his love of his family, and the outdoors. He spent his spare time inflicting his love of hunting and fishing on all who knew him. He was so proud of his hunting adventures and made many lifetime friends.

His love and generosity will always be remembered.  You can take the boy away from the mountains, but you can't take away a big heart and goodness and kindness that started there.

We will miss you terribly, Dad, and Grandpa to MANY. Until we see you again.

Due to COVID, there will be a private memorial for the family at a later date.
