Estela S. Gonzales, 81, of Kearny, AZ passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 in Globe, AZ. Estela was born on April 28, 1942 in El Paso Texas to Mercedes Serrano. She grew up with 3 brothers; Josemonico, David, and Christopher, and a sister; MaryLou.

Estela met and married the love of her life, Arthur Armenta Gonzales and relocated to Arizona in 1960 and eventually settled in Kearny. Estela and Arthur raised 4 children; Mercy, JuliAnn, Oscar and Turi. They spent their lifetime sharing love and happiness with their family until Arthur's death on June 8, 2001.

Estela is preceded in death by her husband Arthur Armenta Gonzales, mother Mercedes Serrano, brothers Josemonico Sandoval, David Sandoval, and Christopher Serrano, and sister MaryLou Uribe. She is survived by her children Mercy G. (Roman) Navarro, JuliAnn Gonzales, Oscar (Gwen) Gonzales, and Turi (Debbie Carter) Gonzales. She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Services for Estela were held Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Infant Jesus of Prague in Kearny. She was laid to rest with her husband, Arthur, at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix.
