Eulalia "Lala" R. Peralta (80) passed away peacefully on July 1, 2021 in Tempe, Arizona
surrounded by her loving family and friends. Lala was born on November 19, 1940 in Superior,
Arizona to Maria and Eulogio Ruiz and attended Superior Schools where she graduated from
Superior High School in 1959. She married Ramon "Monchie" Peralta in 1960 and they had
three sons Tony, Michael and Richard (who preceded her in death as an infant). For most of her
career she worked as a secretary in Superior before retiring from Boeing in 2010. Lala enjoyed
gardening, spending time with family and friends, and was also very active at St. Francis of
Assisi Catholic Church in Superior.
Lala was preceded in death by her mother Maria, father Eulogio, and infant son Richard. She
was also preceded in death by her sisters Margaret Canez and Irene Ruiz and brother Simon
Ruiz.
Lala will be missed deeply by all her family and friends, especially those that survive her which
include her ex-husband Ramon, sons Tony (Rosalinda) and Michael. Her grandchildren:
Frankie Jo, Michael Jr., Richard, and Melanie. And, her great-grandchildren: Audrey and Kai.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic
Church in Superior: Rosary at 9:30 am, memorial mass at 10 am, inurnment immediately
following at Fairview Cemetery. There will also be a luncheon at the VFW in Superior, Arizona
immediately following the inurnment.
