On November 17, 2023 Eva Maria Escalante departed from her family at age 45 due to complications from lupus. Eva was born on September 18th, 1978 in Globe Az, to her mother Maria Corona. A lifelong resident of Hayden, graduate and former employee of Hayden High School, Eva was well known and loved by all. She is remembered for her kind loving soul, selflessness, and cheerful smile; she touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed.

Eva was preceded in death by her son Emilio Andres Escalante and is survived by her husband Felipe (Joey Sr.) Escalante, son Felipe Joey (Analisa) Escalante, grandchildren Joseph & Abel Escalante, parents Mary Corona & Adolfo Espinoza Sr., brother Adolfo (Marisela) Espinoza Jr., sister Amanda Espinoza, in-laws Felipe (Concepcion) Escalante, sisters-in-law Leonor (Richard) Baird and Rosie (Ron) Lopez, along with nieces and nephews. Family, friends, and those whose lives Eva touched are invited to attend services on Friday December 1, 2023 at St. Joseph's Parish in Hayden, Az.
