Eva Munoz Lopez of Superior, AZ went home to be with our LORD JESUS on October 12, 2019 at the age of 65. Eva was born July 1, 1954 to Antonio "Rumbero" Munoz and Aurora Escalante Chavez. She was born and lived her whole life in Superior, AZ.

Eva worked for over 23 years for Arizona Department of Corrections.  She began her career at Pinal County Juvenile Detention Center and later transitioned to Unit Manager for CCA Central Arizona Detention Center. In 2007, she was forced to retire due to a brain injury.

In 2009, Eva married Ruben Lopez, Jr. and together they formed a family along with their children Vanessa F. Madueno, Nathan C. Madueno (Teresa), Alexa M. Madueno, Jesse Lopez (Regina), April Lopez Garcia (Josh), and Kathryn Lopez (Gabriel).

Eva leaves behind her husband and children. She also leaves behind two brothers Henry Munoz (Patricia), Tony "Rumbas" Munoz and two sisters Carmen Munoz and Frances Munoz. She will also be missed by many cousins, nephews, nieces, many grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Eva is preceded in her death by her parents Antonio "Rumbero" Munoz and Aurora Escalante Chavez, and great-grandchild Lorenzo Velasquez.

Eva loved all her grandchildren and loved spending time with her great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
