Frances Monterde Perez,84, of Dudleyville, AZ passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Frances was the first-born of Arturo and Minnie (Casillas) Monterde in Santa Barbara, California on December 3, 1938.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.  Frances loved to cook, garden, sew and watch her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren play sports.  She loved all genres of music, loved to dance and could whistle any tune.  Frances was a devoted Catholic, having hosted the Traveling Virgin as often as she could, volunteering to clean St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Hayden, and directing a Novenario for departed family and friends when asked.  She was devoted to praying the Rosary every night as well as praying for all those she held most dear.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her family at every opportunity.

Frances is survived by her husband of sixty (60) years, Fred (Renteria) Perez, and three (3) daughters, Diane (Samuel) Juvera of Kearny, Kathleen (Jamie) Ochoa of Oracle and Cecilia (Randy) Cordova of Vail.  Frances had nine (9) grandchildren and five (5) great-grandchildren.

Frances was the eldest of five (5) children and is survived by her two (2) sisters Sylvia Kerlock of Winkelman and Velia Monterde of Tucson, and two (2) brothers Arturo Monterde of Dudleyville and Cecil (Dolores) Monterde of Tucson, and countless nieces and nephews, all of whom she held dear to her heart to her last breath.
