FUNERAL SERVICES FOR FRANK LOPEZ HAVE BEEN POSTPONED TO A LATER DATE!!

Frank C. Lopez , died on March 11, 2020, at the age of 89. He was born in Jerome, Arizona on January 29, 1931. Frank was the son of Andres Lopez and Mercedes (Castillo) Lopez. He was the youngest of three children, sisters: Socorro Regalado, and Esther Sanchez.

Frank grew up in Jerome on a small ranch helping his parents tend to their crops, cattle, and many other farm animals. He left Jerome to join the Army where he swerved in the Korean War. After the war he returned to Jerome and later moved to Superior to work at Magma Copper as an underground miner and foreman for twenty-six years. Frank then retired, after ten years of service, with Pinal County.

Frank met and married the love of his life, Rosemary Otero. They were married for sixty-seven years. Together they had six children: Roy, (Sophie), Cynthia Thomas (Joe), Frank Jr. (Rita) Geri Richards (John), Andy (Cheryl), Gino (Tina). They had three generations of many grandchildren.

In addition to Frank's parents and siblings, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Rosemary, and son Roy.

Frank volunteered as a Boy Scout Troop Leader, and coached Little League for many years. He was a member of the VFW, Knights of Columbus, and the Saint Francis Church. He also enjoyed hunting, camping, and being down at his corral with his horses. Most of all, Frank loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. Upon retirement, Frank and Rosemary spent several months each year at their cabin in Pinetop, relaxing and enjoying the cool weather.

Frank leaves behind so many valuable memories that will never be forgotten. He was a loving and hard working husband, father and grandfather. He was respected by all and will be deeply missed. We all love you very much.
