Freida Mae Putney, a resident of Kearny, AZ, peacefully passed away on July 02, 2024 at Mountain Vista Medical Center in Mesa , AZ from pneumonia. Her children and husband were with her in her final moments.

No funeral service will be held due to the family all being present at the time of her passing and her extended family and friends being scattered throughout the country.

Freida Mae Putney was born to Ed Rogers and Cora Lorene Morton Rogers on June 06, 1948 in Edinburg, TX. She married James Orville Putney on April 11, 1964 in Wilcox, AZ. She was a homemaker who loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, arts & crafts, and most of all She Loved Jesus.

Freida is proceeded in death by her father, Ed Rogers, mother, Cora Lorene Morton Rogers, brothers:  Eddie Rogers, Jimmy Rogers, and Roy Rogers, sisters:  Betty Ruth Rogers & Joyce Ann Summers.

Freida is survived by her husband of 60 years James Orville Putney, her five children:  James Lee Putney, Jerry Joe Putney (Tisa Putney), Pennie Sue Strickland (Jonathan Strickland), David Allen Putney, and Lisa Kay Ford (Cory Ford), her fourteen grandchildren:  Kirsten K. Hibner, Brittany Cavicchioni, Jeri D. Breeze (Jason Breeze), Bryon Putney, Dylan R. Putney, S. Blake James (Kaylee James), Anthony S. James, Madison Ford, Kirkland T. Roberts (Kaylen Roberts), Connor A. Putney, James Reid Putney, Braden Sanders, Anna Sanders, Addie Sanders, and her seven great grandchildren:  Liam A. Hibner, O. Everly Hibner, Bella J. Cavicchioni, Kaiwren Breeze, Preston B. James, Kade Roberts, and Kenleigh Brooke Roberts.
