Georgie E. Nelson age 93 of Globe/Miami entered into eternal rest December 5, 2025, born in Oklahoma on October 25, 1932, to Fredrick "Bud" Gabler and Gladys Nunn.  She moved to Arizona with her father Bud and brothers Hurley and Lloyd at age 10.  They live in Macky's Camp until she married.  She was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker.  She obtained an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Child Nutrition from Gila Pueblo College where she was a member of the Phi Cheta Kappa Society, then worked at Mid-State Child Care and Nutrition.

She was a resident of Globe/Miami until moving to Mesa with her daughter in 2014.  She loved spending time with her family and lady friend for church, enjoyed reading, word games and crocheting, camping, picnics with family and was a doll collector.

She was a devoted Christian at the Southern Baptist Church telling others of love for the Lord.

She is preceded in death by mother Gladys Nunn, father Fredrick "Bud" Gabler, brothers Hurley and Lloyd Gabler, children Gene and Lavone Nelson and Rose Hutchison, husband Milton Nelson and great great-grandson Ryder Budrick.

She is survived by daughters Linda Page, Evelyn Nelson and Darlene Owens, grandchildren Elizabeth "Liz" Alexander, Kathy Burdick, Dwayne and Crystal Owens, Lisa Weeks and Chris Nelson, great-grandchildren Sadie Alexander, Preston Cicogni, Kyle and Zach Layton, Cody and Dade Owens, Brenlie and Baylie Budrick and Jordan Celaya along with 5 great great-grandchildren.

She will be laid to rest in Pinal Cemetery.

Pall Bearers: Dwayne, Cody, Dade Owens, Preston Cicogni, Robert Budrick, Jason Nottingham and Zach and Kyle Layton.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St Jude or a local Veterans organization.
