Gertrude "Trudee" O'Leary, age 74, joined God in Heaven on November 18th, 2021. She passed peacefully in her home, surrounded by family and an abundance of love.

Born on February 4th, 1947, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Charles and Alma Voelkel; Trudee moved to Globe, Arizona in 1964 and graduated from Globe High School the following year.

She was married and then mothered two children: Christopher Hemnes and Kirsten Michelle Visnaw, as well as raising her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a very successful business owner, but her family and her faith were always the most important things in her life. Family was her entire world, her passion and life. She was a strong, kind, musically-talented and God-fearing woman who will be remembered and cherished fondly for an eternity to come.

Preceded in death by her father, mother, and son, Trudee is survived by her husband, Lynn, daughter Michelle, brothers Jim (Donna) and Fred (Suzy), sister Caroline, grandchildren Brandon (Christine), Justin (Nikki), Courtney (Anthony), and Annabelle, and great-grandchildren Lilianna, Lucas, Charlotte, Logan, and Nolan.
