Grace Lazarin of Miami, Arizona passed away February 19, 2022, at the age of 59.

Grace was born November 20, 1962, in Miami, Arizona to Elias C. Lazarin Jr. and Alice Lazarin. Grace graduated from Miami High School in 1980 and continued her education at Arizona State University earning a bachelor's degree. Later in life she continued her education earning two master's degrees from The University of Phoenix.

Grace had an unparalleled passion for teaching, her "kids" as she called them were her calling. Grace's classroom was always a safe haven for students and colleagues alike, she was truly that one in a million teacher.

Grace is preceeded in death by her father Elias C. Lazarin Jr. Grace is survived by a very large loving family including her daughter Heather Torpin-Cortez, spouse Les Torpin, mother Alice Lazarin, sister Tina Carnahan, and numerous members of her immediate extended family as well.
