Henry Hernandez was born May 5, 1936. He was born in Miami, Az. and moved to Superior when he was 1 year old. Henry proudly served in the US Army's 3 ^rd Armored Division and actually served with Elvis Presley and his Commander of Chief was Colon Powell. He honorably served his military service and returned to Superior in 1960.

Henry and Mary Hernandez married in 1961 and lived a marriage of love and respect of 59 years. They were always together, active participants of Saint Frances of Azizi Catholic Church.

Henry was a proud member of the I.A.M. and Steel Workers Union. He worked as a Heavy Duty mechanic for Magma Copper and Pinto Valley Copper mines.

Henry is survived by his wife Mary Hernandez, 2 sons Henry Manuel Vasquez Hernandez and Art Hernandez. They also have a son in Heaven, Paul David Hernandez. They have a Granddaughter Mary Adriana Hernandez and Grandson Henry Manuel Hernandez.

Henry and Mary were together over 60 years. Showing true values of love for each other and dedication to make their marriage strong and handle the hardest challenges of life as well as the most beautiful moments of life. He will be truly missed.
