Henry Clay Noetzel, a veteran of the Korean War and a longtime resident of Superior, AZ, passed away Feb. 18, 2022 in East Mesa surrounded by family. Henry was born May 10, 1930 in Superior, AZ to parents Ernest J. and Sarah (Ferra) Noetzel.

Henry started his work life early as a child delivering newspapers with his German Shepard. Henry graduated from Superior High School in 1949 before enlisting in the U.S. Army. Henry served in the Korean War and he had many amazing stories of his time there. He was honorably discharged in Oct 1952.

After the war, Henry returned home and began his career at Magma Copper Mine in Superior, until the mine closed in Aug 1982. He then worked at Roger's Manufacturing until he retired. He and his wife, Sarah Noetzel, enjoyed traveling together and also enjoyed camping, fishing and gardening with their family and grandchildren. Henry also enjoyed hiking the Superstition Mountains and enjoyed being outdoors. He will be greatly missed and loved by his family and grandchildren.
