James Leonard Mowrey II "Jamie" passed away on January 21, 2021 at his home in Globe, Arizona.

Jamie was born in Miami, Oklahoma but lived in Globe his entire life.  He attended both Globe and Miami schools. He was 15 years old when he became the father of Jacob Leonard Mowrey.  Jamie worked for many companies over the years.  Some of them included: Cecil Trucking, Freeport McMoran, Merles automotive and his last employment was at Capstone as a haul truck driver.

In 1996 Jamie married Alene "Cookie" James.  They were married for 13 years. Together they went on many bike rides and put a lot of miles on his Shovelhead Harley. Some of his best and happiest times were partying with his buddies and riding with his Uncle Jack. Over the years he became more involved with riding his quads, exploring new places and looking for old ruins. A few of his riding buddies included his son Jacob, his dad Leonard, his uncle Giles, Cousin Tony and friends; Little Pat, Murphy and Jim Medina.

When he married his second wife Angie Crago Mowrey he shared his love of the outdoors with her and their daughter Tatum, and taught them both how to ride quads. Some of his favorite places were the Sierra Ancha Mountains and Frog's pond behind his house.

His love of music came from his dad and grandpa.  He had an amazing memory when it came to the names of singers, songwriters, titles and dates.  Jamie also loved singing and playing his guitars.  Jamie collected many things, but mostly a collector of friends.  He would always say, "He's My Buddy" and if you were his buddy you had a friend for life.

Jamie was preceded in death by his wife, Angie Crago Mowrey.  He is survived by his parents Leonard and Sharon Mowrey.  Son: Jacob Leonard (Jenny) Mowrey, Stepdaughter: Tatum Crago, Grandson: Adam Mowrey, sister: Fancie (Steve) Alexander, nieces: Amanda (Rodrigo) Mowrey, Madisyn Alexander. Aunts, Uncles, cousins, he also leaves behind a countless number of buddies, and his best buddies Joel, Darlene, Dominic and his childhood best friend Maree. See you on the other side Brother.
