Janie Wyvonne Martinez: 76 years old died peacefully with her family and loved ones near, in her own home in Globe, Arizona on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. She was born September 15, 1947, in Miami, Arizona to William and Willie Jane Powell. She attended school, performed in Archery, and graduated from High School in Miami, Arizona. She married her beloved husband Henry S. Martinez.  They had two children, Henry John Martinez and Kathy Martinez. Back in the day, she may have been known as "Baby Jane" that was her CB radio handle.

You must have seen her in town attending to people's needs by serving at these locations. J.C. Penny's in Globe and Miami, Bacon's Boots and Saddles, Gambles and, who can remember, the "5, 10, 15 Cent Store" on Broad Street in Globe, Arizona? She was there to serve you!

She particularly loved her time with her grandchildren and being their grandmother. Janie is loved and will be missed by those who survive her. Her children: Henry John Martinez and Kathy Martinez. Her four grandchildren Justun Rice, Brandon Rice, Angel Rice, and Johnathan Martinez. She has five great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by those who she's met and served here. She was pre-deceased by her beloved parents William and Jane Reeder Powell, Her husband Henry S. Martinez, Brothers: Bill Powell and Bob Reeder and her Grandchild: Colton Martinez.

Her services will be announced when spring is near so, "Stand By", Beloved: "Mary Jane", "Till we meet again. Safe travels and we're on the side, God's Speed, Over and Out."
