Jimmie Jelois Hughey Dunn passed away on May 26, 2024 in Globe, Arizona, at the age of 90. She was born on September 16, 1933, in Tipton, Oklahoma. Jimmie was a beloved mother, grandmother and aunt. She was a cherished friend and dedicated member of the Globe/Miami community.

Jimmie was a daughter, sister, homemaker, wife, mother, church member, prayer warrior and friend to many. She attended Miami High School in Miami, Arizona, and earned her Certified Nursing Assistant credential from Gila Pueblo College in Globe, Arizona.  She was an active member of Word of Life Assembly of God church in Miami, participating in Sunday School, Women's Ministries, and the Prayer Chain.

Throughout her life, Jimmie held various occupations, including working as a waitress, mail room worker and lithographer apprentice, Certified Nursing Assistant, food sample Supervisor at Costco in Temecula, California, a home healthcare worker, census taker, and later, retired from Wal-Mart in Claypool, Arizona as a Greeter.

In her free time, Jimmie enjoyed traveling on road trips, outdoor activities like camping and gardening, sewing, crocheting and embroidery. She was known for nurturing the flowers and plants both inside and outside her home.

Jimmie is survived by her son, Leslie Keith Dunn (Kathy), her daughter, Rogenia Jelois Dunn-Anway (Steve), thirteen grandchildren: James Roy, Lavada, & Robbie; Marisa & Aubrey Keith; Jared & Reve' Jelois; Jeffrey; Lana, Alyssa, Ella, Alex Keith, & Jacob Roy; twenty great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. She was preceded in death by her husband
Roy Mason Dunn, daughter Bernadine Kay Machachek, parents Thomas Malone Hughey and Georgia Myrtle Baxter Hughey, seven sisters, Cordelia, Dorothy, Lorene, Ozella, Lona Mae, Lavern & Elwanda, and one brother, Thomas.
