Johnny Martin Ells Johnny passed away on July 29, 2024, at the age of 62. Born on September 4, 1961, Johnny leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and a lifetime of memories.
Johnny is preceded in death by his parents Loren Emory Ells II and Mary Jessie Huerta and survived by his siblings, Loren III, Robert, Becky, Monica, Michael and Xavier and their familiesas well as his three daughters, Natalie, Elise and Ashley and their husbands, three Sons, Johnathan his wife, Alex and Edward and nine grandchildren. His extended family includes numerousTio's, Tia's, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and countless Friendswho will forever remember his jovial spirit.
Though Johnny lived alone, he was never truly alone. His faith in God guided him throughout the later stages of his life, he was a dedicated churchgoer, attending services every Sunday and he made many friends in his church community. This was especially meaningful to him and those he surrounded himselfwith. Johnny was passionate about many things but in a shared love for sports he cultivated lasting memories with friends and family. As a fierce Raiders fan, he celebrated every game and proudly wore his team's colors. Known as the "fun uncle," Johnny's playful and fun personality charmed everyone he met. His infectious smile left a lasting impression on friends and strangers alike.
Life wasn't always easy for Johnny, and like all of us, he endured obstacles. However, he faced his struggles with courage and found peace with God. Johnny's journey has now brought him to a place of wholeness and full return of the physical strength he was known for. In our hearts, we picture him laughing, following his team to every stadium in the country, and embracing his new freedom and restoration.
His memory will live on in the stories we share. A celebration of Johnny's life will be held in Superior, Arizona this Fall, date and location will be updated. All who knew him are invited to join in honoring and remembering Johnny.
