Johnny C. Madrid passed away the morning of January 19, 2023 with his son, Michael by his side. He was 84 years old.

Johnny was born on June 24, 1938 in Miami to Edmundo and Soledad Madrid, he was one of 10 siblings.

He married Annie Laurias on February 9, 1957 and had 8 children; Anita, JoAnn (Denny), Christine, John (Margaret), Michael, Corrina, Ruben, Ben (Tori).

His career was in the mines, starting as a laborer, he put himself through school and became a Journeyman Instrumentation Electrician. He also served 8 years in the Armed Reserves.
