Jose "Rudy" Casillas Sr.: 92, passed on Sunday, September 6, 2020 in Globe, Arizona. He was born July 18, 1928 in Miami, Arizona. His beloved parents were Manuel and Juaquina Casillas. His long life in Miami had many facets. His service at Inspiration Copper in Miami spanned 42 years as a smelter brick mason. He owned and operated many gas stations in Globe and Miami, Chevron, Texaco, and American gas stations.  He was married to his beloved wife, Rosie B. Casillas for 32 years. They raised their five children together, she passed June 2, 1979. He was a baseball coach in little league and Babe Ruth leagues for 12 years. He enjoyed golf, boxing, and football.  He enjoyed going out to eat out at the local restaurants in Globe and Miami. Rudy was blessed and married Marie Lopez, November 1985 then shared 35 years together until she passed, January 16, 2020.

It is hard to imagine life in Globe, Miami without Rudy. He was loved and will be missed by those who worked, got gas, or even played baseball with him.  He is survived by his children: Rudy (Becky) Casillas, Gilbert Fred Casillas Sr., Ed (Irene) Casillas Sr., Robert John (Donna) Casillas Sr., and Kathy (Tom) Marcanti. His brothers Robert Casillas, Ruben (Teresa) Casillas Sr., Richard (Lucy) Casillas Sr. His sisters: Lupe (Lalo) Madrid and Helen (Al) Saucedo also survive him. His 14 grandchildren, 35 Great grandchildren and his 22 great-great grandchildren will remember him fondly.

Mr. Casillas was preceded in death by his beloved parents: Manuel and Juaquina Casillas, Rosie B Casillas and Maria Lopez his beloved wives, two siblings: Manuel Casillas and Tony Casillas and two grandchildren: Vanessa Rose Lynch and Gregg Casillas.

Services in honor of Rudy will be on Friday, September 18, 2020 at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish in Miami, Arizona. Rosary at 9:30 a.m., Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Mt. Breeze Memorial Gardens in Miami.
