Jose Martinez, 77, passed away at 7:00am Monday morning, July 27, 2020 at Mountain View Care Center in Tucson, Az.  He was born March 2, 1943.  Jose leaves behind his wife Margarita Martinez, 3 sons Joe Anthony Martinez (Crystal), David Edward Martinez (Patricia), James Michael Martinez (Lisa) and  7 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.  Jose also leaves behind 2 siblings Patty Carbajal and Cipriano Martinez of Silver City, New Mexico.  Jose Martinez retired from Asarco Smelter after 35 years and from Hayden Fire Department as Fire Chief.  Jose enjoyed spending time with his family and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.  Enjoyed helping others and playing musical instruments with family members and also at church.  Jose also enjoyed fishing and hunting and joking with others.  He will be greatly missed by many.
