Jose R. "Joe" Becerra, 49, of Kearny, AZ, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024. Joe was born on January 6, 1975 in Tucson, AZ to parents Samuel and Barbara Becerra.

Joe grew up in the Copper Corridor and was a graduate of Hayden Winkelman High School. In school, Joe enjoyed playing sports and would get involved in as many sporting events as possible. This love of High School sports carried over to his son Julian. Joe would often brag about his many accomplishments.

Joe was proud of his faith and was a proud member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He loved being involved in the Church Activities alongside his son, Anthony.

His sons were his greatest joy. He loved spending his days with them along with his daughter-in-law, grandson Brixton , and of course, his faithful dog, Diablo.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents and son, Anthony.

Joe is survived by his son, Julia Becerra, daughter-in-law Darcee Peters, his grandson Brixton,, brothers Eddie Becerra and William Rash, and sisters Irene Bailey and Christina Becerra. He also leaves behind his nieces and nephews and countless others whom loved Joe dearly.

Services for Joe are being handled by Griffith Mortuary and will be announced at a later date.
