Joseph Henry Tameron, 68, of Superior, AZ. Passed away on July 26, 2021. Joe was born on September 4, 1952, to parents Tony Tameron and Mary R. Castro. He was born and raised in Superior.

Joe worked at Magma Copper Company in the Mill for years and he also worked for Omya of Superior for 17 years. He coached Little League for many years and also coached Jr High Girls Sports including volleyball, basketball, and softball. He also helped the community with may fundraisers including golf tournaments, cancer drives and school functions.

Joe was an avid golfer and he enjoyed spending time with his golf buddies and he loved social gatherings.

Joe is preceded in death by his dad, Tony Tameron, Brother Eddie Tameron, and step-dad- Joe L. Castro. He is survived by his mother, Mary, his devoted wife Elvira, two children Susan (Matthew) Villaverde and Joseph "Jo Jo" (Lisa) Tameron, two grandchildren, Tristian and Vivienne, and brothers, Tony (Maria-Cuca) Donlin, Richard (Rosie) Tameron, John (Bharathi) Tameron, and Rudy (Laura) Tameron and Aunt Esperanza "Hope" Tameron-Martinez. He will also always be remembered by his many nephews, nieces and all his great friends.
