Karen Marie (Parent) Cushman, 71, of Globe, AZ passed away peacefully by her husband's side, Saturday, June 17th, 2023.  Karen was born November 28th, 1950 in Burlington VT, daughter of the late Paul and Noella Parent. She was a devoted Mother, Grandmother and Aunt. She was a very kind and loving person who was devoted to her catholic faith.

She worked in the medical field- CNA, surgery scheduling clerk, and most recently in durable medical sales and prosthetic. In addition to her work, she also fostered two other children. She loved to donate time to family and friends. She had an open heart and home.

She had a passion for the outdoors, she loved to play the guitar, sing and all kinds of music. She was an avid card player, never passing up a friendly game.

She is survived by her husband David A. Cushman. Children- Heather Harless (Christopher) Marie Sumegi. Grandchildren Brianna Walters (Taylor) Chloe Sumegi (Brett) Great Grandchildren Harper and Marcy. Siblings, Joe Parent, David Parent and Mary-Ann Linkowski (Doug) Karen was adored by her nieces & nephews. She was proceeded by siblings, Paul Timothy, Mark & Brian Parent. Services will be held July 8th at Holy Angels Catholic Church, Globe, AZ, Rosary at 10:30am with Mass at 11:00. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of the Valley, AZ. Funeral Arrangements entrusted to Bulman Family Funeral Homes, Globe, AZ.
