Our beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend, Kenny Glass, age 38, passed away on July 18, 2022, in Miami during a restful sleep.  Please keep his loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this time of grieving as Kenny's departure was sudden and greatly unexpected. Kenneth Wayne Glass was born March 13th, 1984 in Henrietta, Texas. As a boy he loved playing football/basketball/baseball/rollerblading, driving country roads in Nocona, being with his friends in Arizona and Texas, watching football with his Grandpa, growing up with his cousin Tanya and Aunt Tina, being a big brother (sharing music, video games and sports with Shane and supporting and caring for Tasha), having a hard working loving mother La Donna, and reconnecting with his father's family.

Life would take him all over Texas, where in Dallas he would make lifelong friends that were very special to him. He would mention them often with wonderful memories and how they supported him unconditionally, especially K.C., Davey, and Rachel. Life then brought him back to Arizona where he made new lifelong friends at Worley, connected with old ones friends, helped his family, but he never lost his connection to Texas. He also received the bonus families of the Wilsons, the Riveras, and the Vargas family when he married his Princess. They all adopted him as their own and saw the love and caring nature he had for his wife Joy, his Porch Swing Angel. Coach and Teresa love him very much and thought the world of him and all he brought into their life.

He will be missed by his friends and family everyday, for he was a bright light in all of our lives. Kenny was our protector and never said no to helping someone no matter the time or place. He prayed every day for his family and friends to be safe and blessed.

Kenny was in his own words a free thinker, a simple kind of man, Texas made, and Arizona loved. He loved football, his dog Gentry, country music, movies and great storytelling, road trips, the color blue, video games, Texas, GOT, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Disney, Marvel, the Arizona Cardinals, the Texas Rangers, The DBacks, Arsenal/Tottenham/Phx Rising, the SMU Mustangs, the ASU Sun Devils, the Texas Longhorns, and the Phoenix Suns.

Kenny was a brilliant man who knew everything about everything even though he said he didn't but we all have witnessed it first hand. He was a lifelong learner who was always reading and listening, exploring all his interests, and trying new things. Kenny was a master of his words, always speaking his mind, and coming up with the most clever things to say.

One day in 1st grade he was having a bad day and a little girl in his class was nice to him and gave him a smile. Unknown to her until many years later, that was the moment he fell in love with her. Fast forward though both of them living different lives, fate will bring these two little kids together at the right moment that they both needed each other. For five wonderful years together, they were the happiest they had ever been, sharing their worlds, introducing each other to new things and finding so much in common. They accepted each other for who they were and helped each other heal their pasts while building a future together. Their love will never be gone and that little girl will live the rest of life with him by her side, still making an impact on her life every moment of every day, until the sun sets in the East and rises in the West, to Infinity and Beyond, and times 3,000. He will always be her Prince and her his Princess, ALWAYS.

Kenny is preceded in death by his father Brian Pruitt, Grandpa Tommy & Grandma Delores Phillips, Papa Glass, and Grandma Margie. Kenny is survived by his loving wife, Joy Wilson, his mother La Donna (Melcher), his in-laws Don and Teresa (Wilson), his sister Tasha (Allen, Codie), brother Shane (Melcher), his niece Kellin, Avery, Mazekeen, and nephew Logan, and Gentry, his loving and faithful friend.
