Larry C. Bracamonte, 86, entered into eternal rest on June 20, 2026. He was born in Tiger, AZ and raised in Sonora, AZ, to Francisco and Estella Bracamonte.

He graduated from Ray High School in 1959. He worked for Kennecott Copper Corporation until retirement. Later in life he worked for the Kearny Postal Service. He especially enjoyed his rural route where he made many friends along the way.

He will be remembered for his dry humor, jokes and whistling about town.

He proudly served with Kearny Volunteer Fire Department for many years. He was a member of the United Steel Workers Local Union 5252, El Sonorenso Club and was active in the Cursillo Movement in the past.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife of 66 years, Lupe, 3 sisters and his great grandson Anthony York.

He is survived by his daughters Patsy (Jody) Cook and Mary Lou Bracamonte, 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 4 sisters, 1 brother, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Larry will be deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him
