Laurell Elizabeth "Liz" Tucker, age 84, passed away peacefully at home on June 1, 2021. She was a wonderful, devoted mother; loving companion; and very special person to her family and friends.  She was born March 5, 1937 to Everett E. Brown and Rosa Lee Lay Brown.  She was the sixth of eight children.  Liz is survived by Mark Johnson, Carrie Power(Ken), Carlene Denton-Roach, Katherine Willis (Roy), Nathan Cotts (Sherrie), sister Julann McPherson, 11 grandchildren and 14 great grand kids.  She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings:  Frances Bedlion, Everett L. Brown, Donald Brown, Novella Bedlion, Charlotte Pratt, Sandra Brown and grandson Blaine Sewell.

Liz was saved at an early age and always loved her Lord and Savior Jesus

Christ.  She was a loving, kind, and strong woman who led an active and full life.

A high priority in Liz's life was to please the Lord and share His good news with all she met.

After graduating from Ray High School in 1955 at Ray, Arizona, she married Grant E. Denton.  They had three beautiful daughters: Carrie E. Denton Power, Carlene R. Denton-Roach, and Katherine I. Denton Willis.  This chapter of her life was very busy raising three daughters and caring for her cowboy husband.  She embraced the rodeo life with her family and even learned to barrel race.

In the next chapter of life Liz married Paul D. Cotts.  They had Nathan Everett Cotts, and she was step-mother to Kenny, Brian, and Donnie Cotts. Life was busy with seven children at home.

Liz then lead quite an adventurous life as wife of George M. "Karo" Tucker.  Karo's work took them to Paraguay where the couple explored Iguazu Falls.  They also backpacked through the breath-taking Sierra Nevada's with young Nathan in tow. This was one of her favorite adventures.

Later Liz completed her Associates Degree at Central Arizona College Aravaipa taking construction classes from the late Glen Johnson.  At this time, she met Mark L. Johnson and the two have been constant companions for the past 27 years traveling through Europe and enjoying many other explorations.  Together the two raised Placer C. Brady-Sewell, Paxton M. Brady-Sewell, Joshua Brady-Sewell.  She called Mark her "Angel" and "True Love".

Liz worked hard and accomplished much in her life.  At one point she even balanced three jobs:  guard at the Arizona State Prison, cook at the General Kearny Inn, and operator of a vending machine route at the Ray Mine.  Liz was an active business member in the Copper Basin Community operating a flower shop and an antique shop.  She ultimately established herself as a Realtor, Broker, and owner of Dynasphere Realty.
