Leslie "Les" Mofford: age 66 passed away peacefully on November 3, 2019 at Heritage Health Care Center in Globe, Arizona. Leslie was born on December 30, 1952 in Globe Arizona to his loving parents Fay and Luetta Mofford. Les attended Miami High School where he graduated from. He worked in the Mine for over 25 years at Inspiration and Cypress. In 1989 he moved to Alaska and worked for the Kenai Penisula Borough as a road inspector. Among many things that Les enjoyed was his love for the great outdoors. He was an excellent outdoorsman and hunter. He enjoyed camping, fishing, trapping and hunting moose, elk and deer. He just enjoyed doing his thing in the backwoods. Some can say that they would love to have just got lost in nature with him. Not only was he a wonderful outdoorsman but he also loved to just take a ride and enjoy the beautiful outdoors on his Harley motorcycle of which he was so proud. Les was an excellent father who always gave the best advice and had wonderful stories to tell. He truly was one of a kind. Les was preceded in death by his loving parents Fay and Luetta Mofford, His son Leslie Grant Mofford. Leslie is survived by his daughter Angel Mofford, his sister Fayette (Neil) Lyall, Billie (Larry) Henley, his lifelong friend and truest friend Donna Petty, his other son Sean Clark along with several nieces and nephews. Les will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
