Linda Anne (McPherson) Hereford was born November 4, 1939, in Globe, Arizona to Harold and Grace McPherson. She died August 8, 2026, at home in Globe.

Linda worked for many years at Inspiration Copper and then with the law firm Culbert, DeNinno & Pardee.

Linda loved her family and friends and especially loved the big family parties with aunts, uncles, cousins, niece and nephews. She loved animals, books and a wide variety of music.

She was a long-time member of St Peter’s Lutheran Church in Globe where she was baptized, confirmed and married to her husband of 50 years, John Hereford.

Linda is survived by her brother-in-law John Strapac of Austin Texas, her niece Kelly Lawrence Andrade (Dr. Oscar Andrade) of Miami, Arizona, her nephews Kenny Lawrence (Lori) of Phoenix, Greg Lawrence (Bonnie) of Ottawa, Kansas, Chris Aune (Claudia) of Austin Texas and Brian McPherson of Santa Maria, California.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband John Herefprd, daughter Valerie Hereford, sister Karen (McPherson) Lawerence and sister Ellen (McPherson) Strapac, Brother Larry McPherson, Parents Harold and Grace McPherson, brother-in-law Jim Lawrence and sister-in-law Barbara (Hayes) McPherson.

Memorial Services for Linda will be held at St Peter’s Luteran Church.
