Lucille B. Gonzalez passed away at her home in Globe, Arizona on October 26, 2024. She was born on August 14, 1930, in Miami, Arizona, and lived her whole life there. She married her husband Mariano G. Gonzalez on October 14, 1949. Together they raised four children, Anita, Edward (Joy), Mariano Jr., and Alice (Angel Sr.). Lucille was a devoted Mother, wife, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed sewing and making jewelry and loved music and dancing. She adored her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and the many cousins. She was an active member of the Catholic Church in Miami, AZ. She donated many pieces of jewelry she made to the Church's fund-raising activities. She was an active member of the parent teacher association and advocated for better education processes for all the children. She enjoyed visiting all her family relatives, many who lived in California, and stayed in touch with them as time went on. Lucille and Mariano celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary together on October 14, 2024. She leaves behind her devoted husband Mariano Sr., one son, Mariano Jr., four grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews and two brothers, Manuel (Irene), and Tommy (Aissa). Interment will be at Mountain Breeze Cemetery.
