Lucille Woodburn age 98 of Globe passed away peacefully at Haven of Globe on June 2, 2021. Lucille was born on February 16, 1923, in Globe, Arizona to her loving parents Battista and Lena Carreto. Lucille graduated from Globe High School. After graduation she began working as an operator for the telephone company. Later she worked as a clerk for Sears in Globe. Lucille had a very loving and caring nature. She would often help her daughter Denise by assisting her in her second-grade classroom. Lucille loved working and spending time with the children and would often assist in many ways such as creating many different creations (Crafts) with them, and at the end of the year celebrations she loved giving them creations that she herself had made for them. Lucille loved spending time with her family and would often make her famous Traditional Italian Ravioli that was taught to her by her mother Lena. Lucille's loving and caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her and by those who had the honor of calling her a friend.

Lucille is preceded in death by her parents Battista and Lena Carreto, her husband Milton Woodburn,  and her sister Marion Valerio. She is survived by her daughters Karen Roebke and Denise Woodburn, her sisters Dorothy Brown and Kathleen Glenn, along with her grandchildren Steven Roebke and Jeff Roebke (Jenni), two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
