Maria Eliza (Alice, Licha) Avelar Ramirez, 81 went home to the Lord on March 30, 2024.

Maria Eliza was born to Pedro and Guadalupe Avelar on June 2, 1942, in Sonora, Arizona. She is survived by Daughter Deborah Harmon, son Troy (Angela), Five grandchildren Daniel (Destiny), Seth (Lyana), Nicholas, Sean and Felicity. Six great grandchildren Alexa, Hunter, Harper, Beau, Ridge and Kynzleigh. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Danny, son Jeffrey, granddaughter Adrianna, son in law Steve Harmon, (5) brothers, (3) sisters.

Alice was a homemaker as well as a caregiver for numerous schoolteachers' children. Her love and passion were to serve the Lord daily. She also loved her large family that included many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.  The love and kindness that was shown to her during her last days will forever be remembered.
