Marie Real Romero, 74, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Born on October 25, 1951 in Ray, Arizona. Marie was the beloved daughter of Enedina (Yonie) and Fernando (Nando) Real Sr. Marie graduated from Ray high school, attended the University of Arizona, and Central Arizona College. She then devoted her life to Central Arizona College, where she proudly retired after 34 years. Marie was known for her contagious smile, love for her family, friends, and faith.

Marie is survived by her daughter's Sarah Smith (Jake), and Rebekah Romero, and stepson Luciano B. Romero III (Ann), grandchildren, Jalissah and Mario Pacheco Jr., Cynthia and Luciano Romero IV, great grandchildren Aiden and Bryson Kelley, and, siblings Elvia Lopez, Fernando Real Jr. And Anthony Real and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Enedina and Fernando Real Sr., and husband Luciano B. Romero II.

Marie will be remembered for her kindness, humor, and love. She touched so many lives and will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
