Martha D. Yanez entered into rest peacefully May 17, 2026, Superior, Arizona, at the age of 90.  She was born March 4, 1936, in Ray, Arizona, to parents Emilio and Luz Dozal.

Martha married John A. Noriega, and they made their home in Superior, Arizona, raising a family of five (5) sons, John, Michael, Patrick, Frank and Victor.

Later in life she would marry Pablo Yanez making their home in Superior also and gaining four (4) adult stepchildren, Ralph, Paul, Edna Chavez and Georgia Huxel.

Martha was first and foremost a loving mother to her sons and "Nana" to Jennifer (Jenny) Rivera, David and Michelle Aleman, and Great "Nana" to Phoenix and Gypsy Rivera.

She was well known in the community by all who attended Superior schools where she worked in the cafeteria for many years up until retirement.  She was never idle and found joy in cooking and "making a party" for her loved ones on Saturdays.  Making "care packages" and delivering them to friends and family in town.  She looked forward to Wednesday breakfasts with Jenny, Phoenix and Gypsy.  Her favorite past time was making "Blankets" for friends, family and anyone who she just felt needed one.  They were lovingly made and given whole heartedly near and far.  At the end of the day, she looked forward to and loved her evening cruises with her son Patrick.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Pablo Yanez; sons John, Michael, Frank, Victor and grandson David; John A. Noriega; parents Emilio and Luz Dozal; siblings Carmen Brennan, Raul, Santiago, Socorro Otero, Juan, Emilio, Lucy Navarro, Ester Dozal, Frank and many in-laws, nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her devoted son Patrick; sister Lupe Cantley; sister-in-law Rita Dozal; daughter-in-law Kathy Noriega; granddaughter Jenny (Maurice) Rivera; granddaughter Michelle (Christian) Aleman; great granddaughters Phoenix and Gypsy Rivera; stepchildren Ralph, Paul, Edna Chavez and Georgia Huxel.  She leaves behind so many nieces, nephews and friends and we find comfort that she is rejoicing in Heaven with all her loved ones.  She will be dearly missed.
