Mary Helen Pacheco Amado, 83, of Winkelman, AZ passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, peacefully at home surrounded by family. Helen was born on August 13, 1939 to Guadalupe and Abigail Pacheco in Winkelman, AZ  and was the second of 4 children.

Helen graduated from Hayden High School in 1957 . She briefly attended business school but soon chose to take on a greater role as wife and mother. Helen truly appreciated the influence she had on creating a large and loving family who's legacy will carry on through future generations.

On January 25, 1958, Helen married Adan T. Amado. They raised six children, Ricardo, Tim, Freddie, Anna, Frank and Eddie, whom she was very proud of.

Helen enjoyed cooking for family and sharing her love and wisdom with everyone. She also liked spending time outdoors on any ride, anywhere up in the hills.

Helen was preceded in death by parents, Guadalupe and Abigail Pacheco, brother Billy Pacheco and son Freddie Amado. She is survived by husband Adan, of 65 years; children Ricardo (Rosalia), Tim (Rosie), daughter-in-law Debra (Freddie), Anna Maria (Lois), Frank (Elisa) and Eddie (Aida). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren , Bianca, Dionne, Sonya, Anissa, Naomi, Phylicia, Angel, Anthony, Daniel, Alejandro, Elias, Caleb, Sabrina and Michael; 11 great-grandchildren, Anthony Jr, Cristian, Briella, Gabriel, Bella, Braxton, Naomi, Matthew, Raegan, Elliana, Elijah; plus 2  great-grandchildren on the way. She is also survived by sister Evangelina Mariscal and brother Frank Pacheco, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, God-children and friends.
