Michael Armand McDevitt passed away into eternal life with our Lord at the young age of 25 on Thursday, April 6th, 2023. Though he left this world far too soon, he left this world a much better place.

He is survived by his mother, Tori Madrid, stepfather, Ben Madrid, father Mike McDevitt, brother, Javier Serrano Jr., step-sisters, Arianne and Ashley Madrid and grandparents, Karen McDevitt, Pete Vasquez, Susan Madrid, Gil Madrid and Annie Madrid. He also leaves behind aunts Alisha Vasquez and Rachel McDevitt . There are numerous step-aunts and uncles that were a significant part of Michael's life. He had many close friends both in Prescott and in his hometown of Tucson, Arizona. Michael was a passionate, deep soul, loving heart and a beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, and friend. He was all about helping others and was planning to pursue a degree in the medical field with the hopes of one day becoming a doctor. One of his favorite points of interest included discussing world news and politics.

1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. 3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated for Michael at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, Miami, AZ, on Saturday, April 29th, 2023, at 10am, with viewing and rosary starting at 9am. The burial will be at Mountain Breeze Cemetery followed by a reception at the Church Hall.
