Michael passed peacefully at his home in Mesa, Arizona surrounded by his family

Michael, 43, was born in Tucson, Arizona and grew up in Kearny, Arizona. He attended Ray High School and went to college at Arizona State University. Michael worked for Harder as a Virtual Design and Construction Technician, where he was a member of the United Association local 469. Michael was a trivia savant and an avid sports fan. He loved the Miami Dolphins, Arizona Diamondbacks and Phoenix Suns. Michael enjoyed hanging out with his friends and especially loved being with his family.

Michael will be missed by all.

Michael is survived by his parents Michael & Laura; wife Kelli; sisters Mia Canisales (Michael); Paula Figueroa (Rudy); nieces Mykaela and Olivia.

Funeral services honoring Michael David Real will be held Saturday, September 21, at noon at St. Benedict Catholic Church; 16223 S. 48th Street; Phoenix, Arizona 85048. Rosary and mass will be officiated by Father James Aboyi, VC. Reception to follow at St. John Bosco Catholic School; 16035 S. 48th Street; Phoenix, Arizona 85048.
